Meet Cris
Graphic Designer, Web Designer, & Brand Strategist
Cris here, designer extraordinaire!
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and an MBA in Marketing. I have been working in the design field for over 20 years, so I can offer you my tried and true expertise in brand design and strategy. Since 2005, I have lived abroad as an expat. Life abroad has sparked within me a love for new cultures. I have had the opportunity to live in 5 different countries, and I am always looking for new places to explore.
Being an expat doesn’t come without challenges — connecting with a new community, adapting to a new culture, all while pursuing professional goals. That being said, I wouldn’t give it up for a second. The best part is experiencing this life with my husband, Alex, and our two girls.
Fun facts:
Even though I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, and I have lived in Dubai, Houston, and Singapore, among others, I really love cold weather!
I am a coffee lover. I like trying different blends, and I seek out famous coffee shops wherever I travel!
Meet Dani
Graphic Designer, Illustrator & Brand Strategist
Hello, I’m Dani — designer and art lover!
I have worked in the design field for over 15 years, and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and an MBA in Economics. Although I worked for many years in the “grey” world of Law, I bought out time to study the joys of graphic design, illustration, and photography. This allowed me to discover a new career, doing what I love — bringing color to people’s lives.
I grew up surrounded by art in many forms — music, books, classic films. In 2005, I also moved abroad with my husband and our first baby girl, and I have been living as an expat in 3 different countries since then. I am so grateful that I have been able to pursue my passion for creativity, art, and design while living as an expat.

Our Story
Cris and Dani here!
We are entrepreneurs, moms, and brand designers. We are both originally from Rio de Janeiro and moved abroad in 2005 — with our infants. We connected over motherhood, being expats, and our passion for business.
With being stay-at-home moms for a few years, it was time to pursue a professional path. We had noticed how difficult it was to build our business, even with the help of consultants and web designers. The wait time was months and the strategy just didn’t fit with our goals.
After launching our first online business, in 2008, we also began helping others launch their businesses — in weeks, not months. We decided to create a one-stop-shop for entrepreneurs like us looking to start a business.
We’re not here just to build your brand & site.
We are here to tell your story to your audience, to help you create your business, and to become friends! Because we don't believe in an icy and professional way, here at Idea Studio, you will find friends to work with, help you improve, and make some money.
